Cars will soon have access to thousands of radio stations on the internet, thanks to a partnership between Blaupunkt and miRoamer. The result of this partnership is an internet radio that will be displayed at CES and will go in to cars very soon, giving the consumer more options in the in-car entertainment scenario.

Citroen badge gets a facelift

Citroen is turning 90 and just for that occasion, the automaker is planning a new badge. The current design has a red square with the brand name in black; the new design, moves closer to Citroen’s original badge. The curvier badge will debut on the C3 Picasso MPV, giving the world another reason to wait for the hotly anticipated car.

GM sells stake in Taiwanese JV for a hefty 3 cents

GM has sold off its stake in a loss making joint venture with Yulon Motors of Taiwan. The company worked on assembling and selling Buicks and import and sale of Cadillacs and Opals. The venture didn’t really kick off and was into losses, much like most of the GM ventures. To put an end to its misery, GM sold its stake in the venture for a buck; 1 Taiwan dollar is all it took, that’s like 3 cents when converted to USD.

Hidden treasure: 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante found in a garage

Talk about striking it rich! That’s exactly what happened with the family of Dr. Carr. The doctor died in 2007 and while the family sifting through mountains of papers and other stuff left by the doctor (who had a form of obsessive compulsive disorder and hoarded everything), finally reached the garage, it turned out to be no less than a treasure trove, housing rare cars like a classic Aston Martin, a Jaguar E-type and a 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante.
