Ever since spy photographers spotted a mystery supercar, speculators believed it would be a Lotus. Now, the mysterious supercar has given a straight answer - it isn’t a Lotus. The supercar comes from a tie-up between C2P Automotive and Motor City Europe. Called the MC1, the supercar boasts of 600bhp from a V10.

Motor City wants the car to be in dealerships by 2011, and has announced that a coachbuilder from Britain will be asked to carry out production. Since, C2P Automotive has been working on the automobile for a long time now, it is very likely that the same company will get to build this British supercar. Called ‘production concept’, the MC1 looks good, is slightly narrower and shorter than the Murcielago LP640, but gains 15mm in height over the Lambo. Other features include scissor doors, stacked twin central exhausts and a monocoque design that moves on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels.
