Green ad: Solar powered billboards from Honda

With cars and its accessories going the green way, how can advertising stay behind? And the trend is quite evident with Honda’s new solar energy illuminated billboards, installed by APN Outdoor. Honda has developed these billboards, backed with green electric energy for its new Honda Accord Euro. Nothing of this sort has ever been seen earlier; therefore it is exceptional for Honda to have come-up with these environmentally conscious billboards, which is being used to publicize the car’s Australian launch.

Roadblocks recycled into Adirondack chairs

The junkyard is where roadblocks go after spending some time on the road, but Design students Jeffrey Gerlach and Andrew Stanley have given roadblocks a second life by turning them into chairs. These Adirondack chairs are made from the Department of Public Works’ roadblocks. A chair comes from the assembly of two roadblock pieces and they can be a cost-effective option for public seating.
