Honda S3000: Taking shape to take over the next decade

The Beast:

Honda has already stolen hearts with the S2000 model and rumor has it that the top men at the Honda headquarters are sketching an Open Study Model concept vehicle to take the high-end Honda series into the next decade. The S3000 will be the Honda that’ll compete with the best of the BMWs and Ferraris in terms of sportscar performance and we’re already getting the probable look of the automobile. While the image of the depicted S3000 is just a rendition by basing the S2000 design as the prototype, it gives an early and fairly accurate impression of what we can expect from the S3000. They call this the generation-Y and the Can Am Spyder seems to be perfect match for it. This is one of the more unique bike designs you’ll find as it is a three-wheeler which is unlike a trike. The traditional designs have two wheels at the back and one in the front. But the brand new Spyder defies those conventions and defines new design norms with two wheels in the front and one at the back.

Large bikes are eternally popular with all the auto folk across the world and no matter what the variations are and how many times the so many variations of the same variety are dished out, people seem to still take to it with glee. Here is another of the concept large bike that does look a touch different from the traditional model and has a futuristic metallic look to it. The look of the bike draws from the classic huge bike design but the wheels look a lot grander and cooler than normal.

Designing a vehicle is not just about drawing a fancy Exo-Skeleton and a few fancy lines on the drawing board that look wonderful on the screen and as CG models but never actually turn in to something substantial. It is important that the designers of the blingy future concepts learn that there’s something under the hood the drives the car and they need a competent set of wheels that help it move forward. Lines in space barely make up an entire machine.
